A new book of selected poetry by Alexander Korotko

Today the Director of the “Summit-book” publishing house, Ivan Stepurin, presented Alexander Korotko with copies of the huge volume “POETICS. SELECTED.” The collection includes the best poetic works from the last two decades of the last century and written during almost twenty years of this century. The book has three sections: “Verses”, “Cycles” and “Poems.” The works included in them are distinguished by genre and thematic diversity. On the pages of the book, the reader will meet time-honored examples of philosophical and civic poetry, treatises, lyrical cycle, poems dedicated to his poetic predecessors, as well as artists, musicians, travel poems with stops in cities and countries, and many more good, strong intellectual poetry. Addressing his readers, Alexander Korotko wrote important words on the page that precedes the book, relating not only to understanding his own creativity, but also to human life on earth, to his mission and faith. Two poems from the book POETICS. SELECTED are published on the home page.
