A project that holds special significance for Oleksandr Korotko — a joint poetry book created together with Jarosław Mikołajewski — continues its journey as part of the Polish series #KsiążkiBezGranic. The publication, supported by Fundacja Powszechnego Czytania, recently received new attention as the Foundation shared a dedicated post about the book.
The collection is part of the #SeriaMosty series, aimed at building bridges between languages, experiences, and contexts. It invites readers — including those reading in a language that is not their own — to engage with literature beyond boundaries.
“This touching narrative explores a world torn apart by chaos, pain, and uncertainty, yet filled with memories that resist simple divisions into ‘before’ and ‘after’. Written in the face of brutal wartime reality, these poems testify to what remains — in history, in human memory, in everyday life.”
Oleksandr Korotko expresses his gratitude to his Polish colleagues for the dialogue and trust — and for the opportunity to be part of this important literary bridge.
Reminder: the entire series is distributed free of charge to libraries throughout Poland.
