Novella Son updated prose page

On the eve of the holiday of Purim Alexander Korotko publishes his novel “Son”, Based on memories of an autobiographical nature. This work is written in memory of his father – Shimon Korotko, who for many years headed the Jewish community in Simferopol. He was a wise, kind, bright and deeply religious person, many knew him and loved him. Today his name has the Jewish cultural center: “Hesed Shimon.” A small novella essay is not just a flashback, the text has risen above the ordinary and has become a fact of literature, because it has intertwined the philosophy of life and poetry, which always fills the prose of Alexander Korotko. “Undoubtedly, prose belongs to the poet’s pen,” – wrote Andrey Bitov. His words can be attributed to all prosaic things of the poet, including those published on this site.
