Alexander Korotko: the poem “Otchizna” – a free translation from Romanian

Not so long ago, Alexander Korotko began to try himself as a translator of poetry, but with the amendment– – “only on the motive”. So, he was translated into Russian from the Turkish cycle of Mehmet’s Ismail poems.   Today’s publication is a free translation of the poem ” Otchizna ” by the famous Romanian poet – Iion Deaconescu.   On the main page of the website presents this poem, as well as similarity poems of Alexander Korotko – about his Motherland, which will be included in a new book of miniatures, which is forthcoming.
