Evening-presentation of the book of miniatures The future returned to the past

In June this year, a presentation of a new book by Alexander Korotko with the paradoxical title “The Future Returned to the Past” was held, which were published by the efforts of the publishing house SUMMIT-book and its director Ivan Stepurin. Creative intelligentsia gathered in a cozy restaurant “Old Zaporozhye” in the center of Kiev. The evening was attended by the People’s Artist of Ukraine Oleg Shkolnik, the People’s Artist of Ukraine composer and performer Nikolai Svidyuk and the Honored Artist of Ukraine composer Vladimir Bystryakov participated in it. In their performance songs on Alexander Korotko’s poems were performed. But the main character of this event, of course, was the author. No matter how many speakers speak about him, his diverse creativity, the poet’s appearance before the public “live” always becomes the main event and is remembered for a long time. So it was at poetic evenings in Odessa, Kharkov, Kiev, Vinnitsa, Moscow. Alexander Korotko read a lot this evening – there were verses from different years, among which – a significant number of new ones, and again the Kiev audience applauded the poetic talent of an unordinary personality. On the author’s page of the poet of the YouTube portal and on his site today there is a video version of the presentation, which, we hope, will be looked at with pleasure by those who were among the invited, and those who appreciate and understand good poetry.
