Alexander Korotko received copyright copies of the magazine “World Literature” (No. 5-6, 2021), which is distributed in China and Hong Kong, with a selection of his poetry in one stanza, translated into Chinese by the famous translator Yzin Wang. This is the first acquaintance of the Chinese reading public with the work of the poet Korotko. For example, one of the poems in Russian and translated into Chinese:

▪ ▪ ▪ ▪

Наивные

пингвины,

дни и ночи,

в тайных казематах

времени

хранят наши жизни

цветочные

из поколения

в поколение.

▪ ▪ ▪ ▪

 纯朴的企鹅,

 白天和黑夜,

 在时间的秘密的掩藏室里,

花朵使我们的生命世代相传。

The magazine looks worthy: modern design, excellent printing performance. Dmitry Drozdovsky, editor-in-chief of the Ukrainian magazine of foreign literature “Vsesvit”, published in today’s issue of the “Vsesvit” electronic version, in the news section, translations of poems into Chinese, as well as several photos of Alexander Korotko, on which the author examines the copiright copies of the magazine “World Literature”:
