Pain

When the Creator
gives countries and peoples
large areas,
countless natural
wealth,
then He experiences these
countries and these peoples.
And the nations these trials
do not withstand.
And it turns out that the gift
was undeserved.
And what does it mean that
Ukraine
granted pain.
It’s not this pain
like a favor, like a concession
idle life,
like a reproach to the cynical,
sinful reality.
Don’t know.
But I know for sure that it’s not.
such a sun
which would not rise.
